CFIA 2015, ILIP PRESENTS ITS MEAT PACKAGING SOLUTIONS
From 10 to 12 March, in Rennes (hall 2, stand E9), the Bologna company will introduce its M.A.P. meat trays range
BOLOGNA (25 February 2015) – Heat-sealable packaging for fresh meat: this is the range of products that ILIP, a leading company in the sector of plastic packaging for fresh produce, fresh food and food service, will be presenting in Rennes from 10 to 12 March, at the 2015 edition of CFIA (hall 2, stand E9).
For ILIP, the French event will be an excellent occasion to illustrate the characteristics of its different solutions for packaging in protective atmosphere, designed by the company to keep meat fresh for longer.
At the CFIA in Rennes, a reference trade show for the agricultural and food industry in France that brings together professionals and operators in the sector, ILIP will exhibit its own range of polypropylene and PET heat-sealable trays of the MT (Meat Tray) series, for the packaging of meat in modified atmosphere.
In addition to the classical white version, the trays are available in a transparent version, perfect to display the packaged product, and in coloured versions: yellow, black and green, for poultry, best cuts and organic products, respectively. The entire range can be equipped with absorbent pads of different colours and absorbing capacities to improve shelf life by absorbing meat exudates.
The characteristics of ILIP’s MT (Meat Tray) line for the packaging of fresh meats respond to the market’s need to improve the efficiency of the entire production chain, from packaging to display on the shelves of retail chains, making it possible to preserve freshness, reduce food waste, and cut down on costs. When compared with equivalent products, such as expanded polystyrene M.A.P. trays, heat-sealable rigid plastic packaging is less costly and takes up less storage volume.
