ILIP at MARCA 2023

ILIP is back at Marca, the distributor brand sector fair, on 18th and 19th January 2023, where it will be unveiling all the news about FibrAware®, the line of products made from natural fibres, IlipBio, the bioplastic range, and its meat packaging line designed taking a circular approach.

Valsamoggia (XX December 2022) – ILIP will be taking part in the nineteenth edition of Marca, the main event in the distributor brand sector, to be held on 18th and 19th January 2023 at BolognaFiere. The stand will be situated in pavilion 16 – C61/D60 and will display and present the new products in the ILIP FibrAware® line, the range of tableware and packaging dedicated to those interested in renewable natural materials.

FibrAware® is, in fact, the ILIP line created from cellulose pulp, cardboard and FSC certified wood: plates, cups, cutlery and packaging for food and take-away, all biodegradable or compostable. The complete range of the revolutionary thermoformed paper tableware will be presented at the Bologna event: plate, dish and dessert plate, in packs of 20 pieces. And this is not all, the whole range of food trays and take-away solutions will be on display, ready for personalisation with the customer’s logo, like the round salad bowls and paper cups. In addition to these products, Fibraware® solutions include a wide range of round and rectangular salad bowls, noodleboxes, deli boxes with windows and cups and containers for various types of uses, such as soups, salads, appetisers and tasters. The whole range of paper cups with water-based dispersion barriers will also be presented; this unique design means that they contain absolutely no inner bioplastic or plastic film, making them perfect for use in the watercooler industry too.

The products of the IlipBio line will also be exhibited at Marca, a range of solutions developed using innovative biopolymers with a reduced environmental impact, which are compostable and certified EN13432. These include cups, cup lids, cutlery, salad bowls and trays and high performance plates (including some heat sealable versions), those in PLA and in materials designed to withstand high temperatures. And this is not all: the range of ILIP trays will also be on display, designed for packaging meat, made up of two product lines, the SealMaster line and the StretchMaster line, designed according to an eco-design logic, thereby assuring the best product performance using the least material and taking a circular economy approach. The two lines, available in 5 different formats, each available in different heights, are also characterised by the available of two different solutions to absorb meat exudate: with a Microcell base – which thanks to the surface tension, captures and traps exudate in the cells – or with an absorbent pad.

We are extremely enthusiastic to take part in this new edition of Marca”  – comments Giovanni Donini, Sales Manager Foodservice and Fresh Food Packaging of ILIP – “This year, we have expanded our stand from 32 to 48 square metres and our constant commitment to innovation and environmental sustainability in food packaging will be all too clear with a layout showing the group’s circular strategy, adopting the principle of the 3 Rs: reduce, recycle and renewable resources”.

On 18th and 19th January, it will therefore be possible to discover all the sustainable innovations and solutions on which ILIP is working at Pavilion 16, Stand C61/D60 of BolognaFiere.
